OHCS submits $88 million foreclosure prevention proposal to US Treasury
Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) has designed a program for helping low and moderately low-income Oregonians avoid foreclosure. After holding a series of forums throughout the state to listen to homeowners' concerns, OHCS has proposed a plan that will help people who are recently unemployed, underemployed or have lost a significant amount of income. The plan was submitted for review to the U.S. Treasury on June 1.
